Alas, they DID NOT have an affair, but Kirstie insists their emotional connection was much more scandalous than having an actual affair. "Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married , you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad." Well, the girl's got logic, we'll give her that. Wow, Kirstie, it's really cool that you're coming out with this revelation almost 30 years later, and when poor Patrick has passed away and cannot defend himself to the world or his wife, that takes guts.
