Chris Matthews made a bigger ass of himself than usual during the overnight election coverage, saying he was "so glad we had that storm" in reference to Hurricane Sandy, because, according to him it secured Obama's re-election. He tried to cover his ass with this remark:
"No, politically I should say -- not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics,"
Because good politics always comes from devastation, apparently. Anyone wanna bet that if he was around during the Holocaust, he would be the guy to say..."I'm so grateful for that genocide, not in terms of hurting people, but it brought in great possibilities for lampshades."
