On Saturday, Melissa Etheridge wed Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem in Montecito, California. This is the Etheridge's first legal marriage since California struck down DOMA, but she has had two prior serious relationships with Tammy Lynn Michaels and Julie Cypher. Cypher had actually been married to Lou Diamond Phillips at the time, so yeah, gentlemen, Melissa is not afraid to snatch your ladies up. Eww, no pun intended. Anywho, both those unions produced children, David Crosby's children actually. Long story. Etheridge's break-up with Michaels was actually quite nasty and played out a bit in the media. But it looks like the singer has found love with Wallem. So congrats you two, I give you at least three years.
