Roger Ebert, renowned film critic and Pulitzer Prize winner, died today of complications from cancer. He was 70 years old. He was beloved, brilliant, and probably the best known movie critic of all time thanks to his informative reviews and great screen presence. He fought a brave battle with thyroid cancer, and will be remembered for both his intelligence and his courage. The film world has lost a great, but I can only imagine that Siskel and Ebert are together again, reviewing movies in Heaven.
